Going down a level vs higher pay code

Im looking for remote Jobs. We have different pay codes for different jobs and levels for each job, pay code A being highest paid job. I’m currently a pay codes B level 4 engineer. I’m looking for remote jobs within the company. If I have to pick between a pay code C job that’s at a level 3 vs a pay code F job at level 4 or 5, which one is the best move for me?
Does going down a level hurt my career if I get to keep my current pay? In the long run what matters level or pay code?

If I take the level 3 role I would be going down a level but it’s at a higher pay band than pay code F jobs.
