Anybody else have a very smart but also very dumb rott? 🤣🤣
He knows commands in English and French, and he still walks into walls. Has to stick his butt in the air to play with a stick. 🤣🤦🏼♀️

I need your help guys. I’ll do the best I can at explaining my situation. I have a male rottie that just turned one year old. I’ve had him since he was 10 weeks old. For the first 4 months I had him I hand fed him to try and prevent any food aggression. When he had something “special” we traded for it, meaning he gave me whatever it was and I gave him a treat. He has zero issues with resource guarding or food aggression I just wanted to give some context that I did in fact work hard to train him. Also backstory, he was very very sick until he was around 7 months old, he kept getting Giardia and had major food issues and was sick a lot so we didn’t get to take him many places. With that said, when people he doesn’t know come over he gets into their space, bum rushes them if you will. There’s no growling, no barking, just immediately in their space. He’s sort of stiff, but after a few moments he’s waging his nub and fine. I’m scared to death he will hurt someone, even though he’s never ever given me an impression he would. He loves kids, my 9 year old son is his best pal in the world, he only does this with adults. He listens to commands, he’s very goofy when it’s just us but I’m sure people that don’t know the breed don’t understand that. I guess I’m looking for similar experiences, how it panned out, and what to watch for when it comes to it getting dangerous. When someone comes over and he rushes I make him go to his crate and he does without issue. I don’t want to be afraid of my dog when he’s given me no reason to be, I guess the all of a sudden posture change has got me freaked out.
Don’t worry, the PB doesn’t have xylitol ☺️
