Hey everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone had experienced the same problem as me.
I’ve done some research and there has been a recall on the taillight assembly for the w204 c300. I’ve called the dealer and they told me it’s been fixed in 2015 but I was not the owner at that time. Now the top part of my taillight has went out and recently the right side has also went out (was working in this picture). The bulbs are all new, the plugs are not burnt, the pin on the wiring harness kind of looks a little corroded (ground wire) and also the pin it goes into on the light assembly also look a little corroded. I tried to clean it with rubbing alcohol and no luck. I need to get the car safetied within the next couple days and they will not saftey it without the bulbs working. If anyone has had the same issue any assistance would be great.
