[Routine Help] layering sunscreen

confused on how to layer sunscreen

i started using the ordinary spf 45 sunscreen a few months ago after a beauty store worker recommended it for my skin, after never having used sunscreen in my lifel and this is the way I’ve been doing my routine:

  1. thayers aloe vera cleanser
  2. thayers toner
  3. hylarunoic acid (sorry i can never remember how to spell that)
  4. whipped shea butter
  5. sunscreen

before that i would just skip the sunscreen and my skin would be clear, but now ive added it for sun protection. i use the shea butter to seal in the HA acid, so i asked the worker in what order should i use the butter and sunscreen and she told me to put on the sunscreen first bc shea butter is heavy/ im a little confused with how to do this tho, bc how is the sunscreen going to seal in the HA acid? ive been considering to get a less heavy moisturizer but im not sure what to buy. what order should i use my products in to seal in the acid and not dilute the sunscreen and should there be a waiting period between the shea butter and sunscreen?

at what point do you decide your work is ready to be shared with others?

I’ve been drafting my story sporadically for around 5 months with no hard edits or revision (not because I don’t believe in editing, but because I didn’t really build the habit of writing consistently until now. recently, i have cultivated an almost a daily habit with writing new scenes or drafting character infrastructure I want represented in my scenes). therefore, all of my works up until now are rough drafts, and I think im nearly ready to start the editing phase

in doing this I’ve seen that the quality of my drafts have improved but I still have a lot of editing to do lmao. i created a glow and grow document where i wrote down things that i liked about my writing, and everything that I needed to fix with my writing, down to the patterns across scene that affect flow and delivery. for the most part, i think that this is a good practice in giving me a guideline of mistakes to fix and bad writing habits that i can deplete as i immerse myself further into the craft, but i was wondering about what others thought about this method and if they have any other methods that are effective?

also, here’s the main inquiry about my post: knowing when to start getting outside feedback, because i understand that your own revisions can only take you so far due to bias. after how many revisions/at what point do you decide that your work is complete and ready for external critiques? thanks in advance for any advice and im happy to actually be kicking my executive dysfunctions ass recently when it comes to my literary habits lol
