So the mods are locking all new posts - meaning we cannot comment or engage with each other, the sole purpose of a subreddit. I've seen this happen before also and the mods got themselves removed and others put in place. You'll kill the sub because they will stop recommending it out and people won't engage.

Any Reddit elder will tell you that this happens on almost every single fan sub at some point. The creator(s) will do something that half the fan base dislikes so the subreddit gets turned into a snark sub since any positivity gets downvoted right to hell.
Just wondering if y'all plan to do that here because someone might wanna get a jump on a new non-snark sub before season 2. There are still some of us that want to discuss overcompensating and the podcast without the negative karma.
