GTL, you noted in one of today's videos that Canada is welcoming and won't ask to see your social media, etc. I understand and completely agree with the sentiment. This isn't a correction - I myself only really learned how cruel this is last week (born in Canada, so never encountered it). But this video does a fantastic job of how Canada, like all wealthy, "western" countries, continues a system that doesn't really make a lot of sense, and greatly harms many who would love to visit or even move here. I cannot recommend enough watching it. I wish we would have some effort to reduce this barrier, as a way to truly differentiate us from the States, etc.
