There have been some great posts lately showcasing different UI settings and home screens. One thing I didn't quite like on the home screen was the "Rediscover tracks/albums" sections. I liked what they were trying to do but the content it was displaying wasn't to my liking so I replaced them with smart playlists that I have more control over!
Smart Playlist rules for "Rediscover tracks": (Match All)
Rule group: (Match Any)Play count greater than 3Favorite is true
Last played over 21 days
Smart Playlist rules for "Rediscover albums": (Match All)
Play count greater than 1Album type is not singleLast played over 21 days
You should tweak these numbers to your preference. I have the playlists sort by random so every time I open the app it changes. I also hide the playlists from the Playlist page but you may want them to show up there as well.
Once you make the playlists, go to the playlist, click the 3 dots for more options and select "Add to home page". Then you can adjust the appearance of the playlists in the Interface>Home settings.
