Looking for any info on a hit and run incident on Queens Blvd near Elmhurst early Monday morning on 10/5.

A friend of mine who works at the local hospital there was WALKING to work when he was hit by an unknown vehicle and the driver fled the scene. Thankfully paramedics were called and my friend was brought to the same hospital he works at for treatment. Shattered shoulder and severely bruised face and right side of his body. Can thankfully walk and no brain damage or major head trauma.
