Is my sugar baby melon almost ripe?
27 days since pollination. it hasn’t swelled much more in the past week, making me think this is its max size. But the tendril has been dead since before pollination so I can’t use that for a ripeness indicator.

I’m keeping only 1 fruit to the plant, vines are sprawling . Does this look like it’ll be a good one? About basketball size 16 days in.
The tendril above this fruit has been brown and dead since pollination, so I can’t use that as a sign for ripeness. what is the best way to tell when my sugar baby watermelon is ripe thats not the tendril?
ok guys when do we think he’s dropping? Such a cliffhanger with Fear it’s almost been a year.
Found these bite marks on my sugar baby. Watermelon is baseball sized, I live in the hot and dry desert so fugal disease is less likely, but will this melon survive?
I’ve been working hard on this music video to bring it to you guys, and I am very happy with how it turned out! I hope you all enjoy it, and I hope it truly encapsulates the heart of Take Me Back To Eden while making a cinematic epic video!
I am making a full-length music video for Take Me Back To Eden. (Coming soon on my YouTube channel @ SamuelNutting!)
I started filming in this hallway for verse 2, and I think it turned out really well! The rest of the music video will in mostly on outdoor locations, including a desert and forest landscape!
My goal is to create a cinematic experience while still holding the story and weight of the song through the visuals!
Coming soon!
I’m making a music video for take me back to Eden and am now creating the vessel costume…
I feel like this is sloppy should I throw it away and make another one or is this solid enough?
The fires in Utah have been blowing into my valley in western Colorado, and the sky has been very smoky. I am growing watermelons, and I’m wondering if the lack of direct sunlight or the presence of smoke will harm the leaves or flowering of the plants.
I transplanted them yesterday and already a couple of the leaves have bite marks, some dead bits, one leaf completely withered and bent off. (also in the second picture with the wilted leaf, notice the large chunk out of the tip of the cotyledon)
I am planting 3 watermelon varieties: Crimson Sweet, Orangeglo and Sugar Babies. I’m most worried about roots, I have PLENTY of room for vines,
What size of container should I use for each of these types of watermelon? Would in ground be the only way to realist grow these?
I’ve heard rumors they have, and that’s why the FEAR EP was different. is there actually any credible info on this? What are your options on this topic?
Has anyone ever grown watermelon? Larger ones? Is it hard?
I am planning on gardening an Orangeglo watermelon plant this year. Is this a good watermelon type, and is it hard to grow? What are your people’s thoughts on Orangeglo?
I’ve both watched videos and asked ChatGPT for what size of container to use for a single plant, (I’m thinking of using a fabric garden bag). ChatGPT says 30-50 gallons for a single plant, but I’ve seen videos of people using 15-20 gallons and it still grows giant watermelons.
I’m planting Crimson Sweet watermelons.
