Every single week super cool, mostly free indie games and demos to play and try out release on Steam that no-one dares to check out, or that I can never find players for.
Also I'm a big fan of Watch2Gether and watching/commenting on videos and movies in general, but have run out of people with time or interest to do so.
Both older and brand-new games, not interested in try-harding or playing overly competitive, just trying to have fun with criminally overlooked or underplayed or forgotten about indie games.

PC only, stuff like Golf Around (2), Bean Battles, Hide & Shriek, MOEN, Mad Adventures, Straftat, Rubber Bandits, Rock of Ages, Turbo Golf Racing etc.

So I love the Jackbox games and fun interactive trivia stuff in general, but although if you really think about it most game shows on TV are permadeath rogue-lites, for some reason I can't find any games mixing quizzes/questions/trivia with some kind of eternal motivation or hook like a proper storyline or game mechanics besides answering questions etc.

"Tree of Knowledge" does the rogue-lite + trivia thing with multiple paths, but doesn't go any further.

So far, it seems like "Majotori" is the closest to what I'm looking for, but is that really true or are there some hidden gems or things in development that could scratch that itch of defeating enemies with trivia and random knowledge?

A more elaborated, not multiplayer-only version of The Jackbox game "Legends of Trivia", basically.

Alright so this is of course just a rough draft but I can't get this idea out of my head so here goes nothing:

The better you are, the smaller your screen gets; the worse you are; the bigger your screen gets. Items can also make other player's screens visible to you, giving away their position like in "Screencheat", while others obscure your gameplay to other players or even fake a position you're not actually in.

The borders of the four screens are always moving, sloowly closing in on whoever is at the top, so if you're last place and have a negative K/D your window may take up most of the screen and appears as a black box to other players, while you can see where they are and how much they're struggling with the limited space they got.
The black box parts are not entirely wasted space though, as the less you can see; the more items/ammo/guns you can carry; effectively rendering the space your inventory.
Things like FOV or frame rate could also change depending on items and how well you're doing.

There was another online FPS in the 2010's that had lag grenades or ones that fake a bluescreen I think, always thought why not use more meta elements as part of the combat.
