Can I handle all these classes?

I'm a freshman in mechanical engineering. My classes add up to 16 credit hours in total. Its not that I dont study or cant handle it, I just wanna make sure im not biting off more than I can chew. And should I be worried about any of these teachers.

Do I need to buy the books if I already have pdfs

Im about to join as an undergrad freshman and I saw my classes require a few books that I have pdfs of but I read somewhere that teachers assign homework and tasks using website access codes that you get when you buy the book. Is that the case for these. And is there any way I can only get the access codes if I really need to and not buy entire book.

Incoming freshman math

Im joining UCF this fall for mechanical engineering. I saw in the plan of study that I need to be in calc 1 in my first semester. Ive never taken a calc or pre calc class in high school. Im not bad at math but should I be worried. I heard you can take some accelerated math program to catch up? What should I do?
