Marketplace Apartments

I’m considering moving into Marketplace Apartments in downtown and wanted to hear from anyone who currently lives there or has lived there recently. I drove through downtown briefly and it seemed nicer than I expected, but obviously visiting and actually living somewhere are two different things. I'd be moving into a 1 bedroom with my dog and work 100% remote.

A few things I’m curious about:

  • How do you like living at Marketplace overall?
  • How much do utilities usually run monthly for a 1 bedroom? I know water is $50, pet rent is $30, approximately $50 for internet. Concerned about heat, electric, trash / sewer etc.
  • Is the building generally quiet / well managed?
  • How’s the parking situation with free unassigned parking? I am not interested in paying the $60 extra month to have covered parking.
  • For dog owners: where do you usually walk your dog nearby? Do you feel comfortable walking from 8AM - 8PM? I wouldn't be out any later than that when walking my dog.

Would appreciate any honest feedback. Thank you!

Would you move off of Rome for an Early 2027 1st?

pick should be in the 1.03-1.05 range. they finished with 1.04 in 2026.

I am rebuilding and most likely going to get the 27 1.01. I also own a projected late 27 1st as well.

current WRs: Puka, Nabers, Rome, Reed, and Downs.
