I'm ready to finish it. Now starting book 2 of DoD.
I'll probably take at least three months to finish DoD + TCG.
I started it all February 2025, and took a month long break from the series in april (last month).
but now I feel it. It's fluid again to read Erikson, I'm loving the return to Letheras and as happened to Reaper's Gale I appreciate the author taking some time do finally hold my hand and explain a bit of things. TtH was a bit confusing because some motivations aren't clear in the text.
I am already antecipating the void I'll feel after finishing. I can't do a reread.. or can I? I feel a shouldn't... or should I? Will my wife understand if, after 17 months reading a series, I would just go back to where it started? Am I going crazy? I don't want any other story, this is peak literature. Will I enjoy anything else again?
