Price negotiation

A horse I’m considering is listed for $15k on consignment. This is not some fancy horse with records and prizes or anything like that. I don’t think she has papers but not sure. But, she is very well trained (and absolutely gorgeous). She’d be my first horse. I’m curious to what extent I might be able to negotiate her price. Note that I am in Colorado and prices here do seem to be much higher than elsewhere based on my searches. I don’t yet know vet exam results (consignor does on all horses) and results may influence but for now, thoughts?

Sourcing meat

I’m just now exploring switching over to raw (currently do part Instinct raw coated kibble + homemade designed by a vet nutritionist). I had a free consult with the nutritionist at Raw Dog Food and Co yesterday. Overall great convo and informative, but one question I asked him has left me wondering:

I asked why one couldn’t just acquire meat at the grocery store. He said because the meat at the grocery store is meant to be cooked and has more bacteria (because it can) than what they sell. They’re held to higher standards for raw meat.

But then I watched some videos linked in another post (Paws of Prey) where she, also a nutritionist, was purchasing meat at her local grocery store!

So I’m thinking maybe just a sales ploy? And now I’m a little distrusting of starting with their premade raw as an intro to it 😕

Very old jade plant - what’s going on?

My boyfriend’s jade plant, which he thinks is about 20 years old. It has these white spots and seems pretty sad. We just repotted since was falling over and now stands a little taller. Fungus? Just sad?
