Hey everyone,

I’m looking for recommendations for great mountain biking destinations around Europe.

I’m a 32-year-old rider from Belgium and currently ride a 2023 Canyon Neuron CF (140mm front / 130mm rear). I enjoy both climbing and descending, so I’m not afraid of big elevation days or long rides. I’d consider myself an advanced rider — I like technical trails and challenging terrain, but I’m not looking for anything too extreme like hardcore downhill or bike park-only riding.

I’m mainly interested in places with:

• Natural singletrack
• Technical but rideable descents
• Good climbing routes
• Scenic mountain areas
• Multi-day riding potential or trail networks

I’m open to all suggestions across Europe — Alps, Balkans, Scandinavia, hidden gems, anything worth checking out.

What are your favorite MTB destinations that fit this kind of riding style?
