Basically while the hunter is doing the animation for clutch claw it can perform a mount attack instead of actually clutching into the monster, but I have no idea how this happended and can't find info about it

Some time ago it happened to me while fighting Legiana, the only odd thing about the interaction was that I was on a slope and Legi was flying when I tried to clutch claw. The only time I have seen this happen to someone else was on a video where someone was hunting a 500% sized Legiana, but not much was said about that interaction.

Does anyone know how this happened and why? Or at least has this happened to someone else? I really want to use it consistently but if I can't find any info about it I doubt I'll ever figure it out
