How do you store/archive finished books without losing KOReader stats?
Hi guys.
Wondering how do you keep finished books? I use a single /Books folder as my Home (it contains books I want to read and books I’m reading). Once I finish a book I don’t want it to stay in that folder because the folder will become unmanageable over time. I’d like to move finished books to another folder AND keep the reading statistics (finished date, time read, progress).
When I move finished books outside /Books (or even to a subfolder in /Books) they stop counting as finished in the stats.
Current setup: I add finished books to a “Finished” collection and set Home to show only books-to-read, but the files still sit in the same /Books folder and that’s what I want to avoid.
Looking for a clean workflow that:
- preserves KOReader reading stats
- removes/archives finished files from the main /Books folder (so it stays tidy)
Any practical, short steps or tools you use that actually let you archive/move finished files without losing stats? Thanks!
