I watched War Machine recently and wanted to get others’ opinions on No. 44’s performance. I felt like the character was consistently played at a very high intensity level, without much emotional variation between scenes. While I understand they may have been aiming for a tense or unstable personality, it ended up coming across as overacting to me.
Did anyone else feel the same way, or did it work for you?
