PC running extremely slow and glitchy with solid specs, need help figuring out what’s wrong

Hey everyone, I’m really hoping someone can help me figure out what’s going on with my PC because something feels seriously off.

Here are my specs:

Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe Gen 4 SSD
Windows 11
G.Skill 32GB DDR5 RAM (6000)
Gigabyte RTX 4070 Super Windforce OC 12GB
Deepcool AK620 CPU cooler
Noctua NF A12x25 PWM fan
Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
Super Flower SF850F 850W PSU
MSI Pro B650 WiFi motherboard
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
Fractal North XL case

For some reason, my computer just feels way slower than it should. Sometimes when I turn it on, it takes forever for the login screen to even show up. Then when it finally does, sometimes it barely registers my keyboard or mouse input and takes forever to let me log in.

Once I’m in, things can still feel super slow and weird. Opening apps like Steam or Discord can take way longer than they should, and sometimes even basic Windows stuff struggles. Sometimes the search bar at the bottom won’t even load, and I’ve even had Task Manager take forever to open, which feels really wrong.

Yesterday CS2 was crashing a bunch mid match too, and sometimes when I close certain games, my desktop icons randomly rearrange themselves, which is super annoying. Overall the whole system just feels inconsistent. Sometimes it runs okay, and other times it feels like something is seriously bogging it down.

I feel like with the hardware I have, this thing should be running way better than it is. I haven’t done a ton of deep troubleshooting yet, but I wanted to ask here and see if anyone has ideas on what I should check first. Could this be a Windows issue, drivers, SSD problem, RAM issue, or something else entirely?

Any help would be seriously appreciated.
