I was just wondering, I was going to do something like 70% VFV and the other 30% EXQT for ETFs and just let it ride for the next 30 years but is that smart or stupid?
Still new to the investing game in general, not even necessarily investing I'm just new to ETFS and after doing research and whatnot some people are saying go 100% EXQT and forget about it, others are saying buy "VOO and chill", others have like three or four different ETFS, etc, etc. it's kind of intimidating in the sense of trying to figure out which ones to buy.
In a perfect world I plan on parking a lump sum in there (right now I can dump 10k to 15k today and then monthly contributions varying from something like $300 a month to upwards of $1,000 maybe some months) and like I said my time horizon is set it and forget it for literally the next 25 or 30 years and not move it or touch it or whatever besides the contributions every month.
Just kind of looking for people's thoughts and opinions maybe I'm overthinking it or just not thinking about it the right way in general. Thank you very much
