Drain went out. My stepdad's solution: more caulk. Didn't work. Did he call a plumber? No. Did he try a different approach? No. Just more caulk, like the first round just didn't have enough conviction behind it. Same with the toliet, first picture is the leaky toliet he 'fixed'. it just needed a new wax ring.

When that failed, my mom took matters into her own hands and tried super glue. It held for a while. Then it didn't.

I ended up doing a road trip just to fix it myself, because at that point it was either that or my mom keeps washing dishes around a drain held together with glue and good intentions.
