Need advice on a beloved childhood restaurant

I hope you can help me work out what I should do.

I go to the same restaurant every month, its been around for ages, hell my dad used to go when he was a kid and introduced it to me. I have a lot of good memories of the place.

Its not perfect, it had some interesting choices in the 90s, but overall I enjoyed it especially in the early 2000s. But then a new owner changed up how the food was cooked and ever since it gives me horrendous stomach pains and diarrhoea, so naturally I continued going to the restaurant because it might get better.

Since that change I've been going to the restaurant every month for nearly 20 years hoping the food will change back to how I liked it and it occasionally has a good side dish or drink, but the main meal has consistently made my stomach ache horribly and often made me shit myself, especially in recent years. Sometimes they bring in a talented chef to cook the meal, but the management is always the same and makes them cook it the way my stomach aches. I even wrote to the management about it and they replied that they will never change how they cook the food while they are in charge.

What should I do? I'm a fan of this restaurant so I don't have any choice but to go and grumble about with fellows who dislike its direction online. I can't see a way out of this and would love some advice.

--EDIT--

Oops, this isn't the advice subreddit, its a completely unrelated subreddit!

Long time image comic fan, primarily reading via trades.

Have never got any of the compendiums, as I was always concerned about gutter loss and the binding/glue failing due to the size of them.

But I recently got the Low Compendium, with only 26 issues I wasn't as worried and I am very happy with the quality.

I was wondering about bigger compendiums like Black Science or Deadly Class which are much longer series, do they suffer from significant gutter loss or binding/glue failures in your experience?
