Post Diagnosis Employment

Hello!

I have been dealing with dysautonomia for a few years while in the military and it’s looking like I won’t be able to continue service due to this condition.

I have enjoyed my time in the Navy but have a lot of difficulty being in hot environments, standing still for long periods, and vision issues.

Was curious about what others do for work if able. It seems like there is a wide spectrum for symptoms impacting everyone.

The cause of condition was H. Pylori induced vitamin deficiencies plus COVID. My symptoms have stabilized to the point where I can function ok most of the time but have low energy and issues seeing in the dark/driving at night.

Right now my only treatment is HR-V Biofeedback breathing exercises which improve my recovery during sleep. Not a cure but has surprisingly helped my condition a lot.
