Good afternoon guys, PGY-3 internal medicine resident here from Texas. Filed for waiver on 11th December 2025. Documents showed “received” on February 03 2026. My attorney just emailed me my HHS approval/recommendation letter today on May 11th 2026 (exactly 5 months from filing).

Things are moving now. Dont panic and keep in touch with your attorney.

PS : the J1waiverstatus check DOS website has not been updated yet for me. So i am assuming updates there are delayed than the actual approval.
