I am supposed to get a new company car and my request for a Volvo EX60 got declined since we only drive VW.

I am supposed to get a ID7 Tourer GTX but I have refused to switch since I do not feel like it matches the competition, when looking at BMW, Mercedes or Volvo. Also the design is IMHO just plain boring.

When can we expect a face-lift for the ID7?

800V and a roughly 100kW battery would make the car more interesting.
