Hello Reddit!
My husband bought a second-hand kimono for me in Kyoto from a small antiques shop on Philosopher’s road. It’s beautiful but he doesn’t know much about it.
Anyone know how I can identify its origins/date?
Its in really great condition, could have been made recently for all I know, but I am curious!
Any help would be appreciated.
P.D. I am terrified of unfolding it but will if its necessary to ID 😅
