Choosing my next pair (Cloud X 4 vs. Cloud 6 vs. Cloud 6 Versa)

Hey everyone

I'm looking to buy a new pair of Ons and could really use some advice from people who have experience with these models.

What I will use them for:

  • Daily Routine: Lots of walking around university, sitting in lectures/the library and running errands.
  • Gym (3x a week): I do my leg exercises completely barefoot, so I'll only wear them for upper-body exercises. I just need a stable base where I don't feel wobbly.
  • Travel: Taking them on 2–3 trips a year where I'll be walking around a lot.

What is important to me:

  • Foot Health & Performance: I want something that doesn't completely put my feet to sleep with marshmallow-soft cushioning. I prefer a healthier, more active and stable feel for my feet.
  • Convenience: I heavily prefer a slip-on style.

I've narrowed it down to three choices based on my research, but I'm torn on the final decision:

  1. Cloud X 4: I heard these are amazing for foot health and gym stability because the sole is flatter and firmer. I also found out they have the Star Lacing system so I can use them as slip-ons.
  2. Cloud 6: The classic choice, but I'm worried that the softer cushioning might make my feet "lazy".
  3. Cloud 6 Versa: I like that the upper material is more weather-resistant for daily life and looks less like a pure sports shoe, but it has the same softer sole as the regular Cloud 6.

Given that I do my leg days barefoot anyway, which one of these would you recommend as the ultimate daily driver that still handles upper-body exercises and travel?

Thanks in advance for the help!
