How rigorous are the interviews? Do almost all the applicants have to give an interview? Has someone already gotten a rejection? How likely is it for someone to get in without an interview?

I am sorry there is not much information about this programme online; it's just the website and what little there is on reddit. So if there is someone who is currently studying, please answer my questions

Edit: I did not get an interview already, that's not what I was trying to imply.

The deadline for the computational physicist position was June 14th. It has been two weeks, and the target start date is August 1st. Does that mean whoever hasn't heard back has just been rejected, and they have moved ahead with some shortlisted candidates?
