I'm a vet, ask me anything about your dog or cat's health
Hey r/IndianPets,
I'm Dr. Mehak. I'm a Fear-Free Certified vet and I've been practicing small animal care for about 5 years now, currently with Supertails. I spend most of my day talking to pet parents about health, food, and behavior stuff, and honestly a lot of the same questions come up again and again, so figured I'd just open the floor here.
Ask me anything about your dog or cat. Diet, vaccines, that weird skin thing that shows up every monsoon, whether your indie pup's behavior is normal or a red flag, when to actually rush to a vet vs when you can chill and monitor, pregnancy stuff, senior pet care, whatever's been bugging you.
Only thing I'll say upfront - I obviously can't diagnose anything without actually examining your pet, so for specific cases I'll do my best to point you in the right direction rather than take a wild guess.
I'm on right now, so drop your questions and I'll start replying.
