Blind cat Adoption appeal (urgent)

Hi!
Two days ago, I came across an injured cat whose jaw was bleeding and he was going around in circles and panting heavily. I rushed him to the vet. Turns out his jaw was dislocated, and he had some sort of head trauma probably due to a car accident. So we got him vaccinated, spayed, jaw relocated and dewormed.

The problem is he’s blind. So I can’t leave him out on the road. And I already have two cats at home so I can’t adopt him myself.

Please help me find a home for him. I have only two days left till he’s out on the streets again.

Gender: male
Age: ~ 7
Location: Mahim, Mumbai
Number: +91 8380932521

I will be grateful for even a foster at this point, till I can find a permanent home.
Thank you!

An animal welfare account will target things related to animals only right?

I felt its very weird and unfair and same happened before . I have put my account visibility to the desired subReddit that i use it mainly for yet all this bullshit 💀🫶🏻

Also i asked for my own dog just in case if they allow in name of own pet i might be able to help the strays ( yah ik its lying but i have no option)

Need urgent orthopedic advice for Golden Retriever after femur surgeries & possible re-fracture 🚨

Hi everyone,
Need serious orthopedic advice for my 4-year-old female Golden Retriever “Eva” (~30kg). I’ll attach all X-rays/videos/photos below.
• 25 June 2025 – Major car accident caused severe left femur fracture
• 28 June 2025 – Surgery at Cessna Lifeline Veterinary Hospital with plate, screws & intramedullary pin
• For next ~8 months: daily physiotherapy but almost no proper recovery, severe limping, very poor weight bearing
• 21 March 2026 – Plate & screws removed as we were told bone had healed
• We were not informed that the pin was still left inside
• After surgery only 10–15% improvement happened
Then:
• Around end of April pain increased again
• Around 10 May swelling developed and pin started becoming visible/migrating
• 12 May – local vet removed the pin
Most important part:
Within hours after pin removal, Eva suddenly improved massively:
• 75–80% movement returned
• walking properly
• active again
But after 4–5 days:
• pain returned
• limping increased
• became lethargic again
Fresh X-rays now show a possible new fracture/stress fracture/crack in the same femur area. Local vet has currently applied plaster and advised strict rest.
We are from Vijayapura, Karnataka and willing to travel anywhere nearby:
• Bengaluru
• Pune
• Mumbai
• Hyderabad
• Goa
• Hubballi
Please guide me:
Which is the best orthopedic veterinary surgeon/hospital for such complex revision cases?
Does this sound like stress fracture/re-fracture/non-union?
Should we get CT scan done?
Surgery again or conservative management?
Would really appreciate recommendations from people who’ve handled difficult orthopedic cases.
Thank you.

Meet SIA - Bangalore Indies (Part 4)

She is camera shy as you can see it in her face. Had to struggle to get a picture of her only after bribing her with some dog treats.

Very gentle by nature and super possessive if other dogs come near me.

I feed and take care of most of the stray dogs in my locality. I would be happy if anyone is willing to assist me with the same. Location : Kaggadaspura, Bangalore

Looking for Loving Homes for 2-Month-Old Baby Rabbits 🐰 (Nagpur)

Hi everyone,

My rabbit recently had a litter of 4, and the babies are now almost 2 months old. I waited until this age because I’d read that baby rabbits shouldn’t be separated from their mother too early.

I contacted a rabbit seller/adoption person today, but they declined saying the babies are “not young enough” anymore.

So I’m reaching out here — if anyone in Nagpur is genuinely interested in adopting healthy 2-month-old baby rabbits, kindly DM me. I’m not looking for money, only reassurance that they’ll be kept happy, healthy, safe, and well cared for.

Also, if anyone knows of a safe, trustworthy place or community for rabbit adoption in/around Nagpur, please let me know.

Kindly DM if interested ❤️

What all should I know and be prepared for before travelling with a cat on a flight?

What all should I know and be prepared for before travelling with a cat on a flight?

Gonna travel with my cat on an airline.

What all should I know, what all should I be prepared for?

Is a pet passport like a govt document or just something a vet will give?

Where to get the cage that the requirements ask for

Please suggest some of the carriers that you've tried and tested
