A local stray gave birth to 7 puppies near my house; I got 3 adopted, and 4 females remain. One of them (2–2.5 months old) is in critical condition. She vomited a few days ago, reduced her food intake, and hasn't eaten anything since yesterday. She is now extremely lethargic, drooling heavily, scratching, and crying out in pain whenever approached or touched. I am currently in a rural area and completely broke, so I cannot afford a vet visit right now. What can I do immediately to keep her alive, and are there any NGOs or rescuers who can sponsor her medical care? Please help urgently.

First of all, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came forward to help the six-month-old puppy. What this community accomplished yesterday was truly beautiful. Together, we raised almost ₹16,711 and your support helped us get through a difficult situation.

Now the treatment has been completed and the total expenses have come to ₹6460 which includes, Transport, Humane Euthanasia, Anti Rabies Vaccination for the pup's siblings and mother.

As promised earlier, the remaining amount will not simply be kept aside. We would like to use it to help others who are fighting similar battles.

The remaining amount is - ₹10,251

Here's what we propose to do with the remaining funds:

We propose to donate a portion of the remaining amount to each of the 9 fundraisers linked below, so that other animals in need can also receive help.

2. ₹ 501 as A small gesture of gratitude ❤️

We would also like to donate ₹501 as a token of love and respect to the person (u/ServeOk7568) who contributed ₹20 to this fundraiser despite having only ₹25 left in his account.

That ₹20 meant much more than its monetary value. It was a reminder that kindness isn't measured by how much money we have, but by how much we are willing to give, even when we have very little ourselves.

She's only 9–10 months old. A literal baby.

Someone abandoned her at a construction site, tied up, without food or water. Just left her there to fend for herself in that heat.

Imagine being that young, tied up in the heat, not knowing why the person you depended on left you there.

How long was she supposed to survive like that? A day? A week? WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? How could anyone do this to an animal that depends entirely on humans? 😭

She was later rescued and taken to Blue Cross for spaying, but her platelet count was too low for the surgery to be performed. And during this time, she had a terrible tick infestation. We've given her Simparica, and her blood tests have also come back positive for tick fever. Thankfully, the vet says it's mild at the moment, and she'll be prescribed medication.

And the thing that breaks my heart the most?

She's SOOO sweet. She plays fetch. She's playful, affectionate, and just wants to be a dog.

Why do people buy breeds for pride and prestige when they're not prepared to care for them? Why bring a living being into your life just to abandon them when they become inconvenient?

A dog isn't a status symbol. She isn't an accessory you can throw away when you're done showing her off. She's a living, feeling being who depends on you for her entire world.

She didn't deserve any of this. None of it.

I'm just grateful someone found her before it was too late. She needs treatment but Now she's safe, getting care, and finally has somewhere to sleep without being tied up and left helpless and, eventually, a FOREVER home where she'll never have to wonder whether she's going to be abandoned again🩷🐾

Sometimes, Walking Away Hurts More Than You Think 💔🐶

Every day, I meet these little puppies near Anand Vihar Metro Station while returning from the office.

They are fast asleep, but the moment they see me, they wake up.

And sometimes, when I don't have enough food to feed them, walking away feels like I've borrowed something from them and am running away without repaying my debt. 💔

• June is a 9yr 3 months old calico cat & is fairly independent. She enjoys human company & her me time. Not aggressive & because she is a fatso, she won’t chase (you can try though)

• She sleeps for most part of the day & likes to sleep at different spots in the house but her favourite are the hammock and at the top of the refrigerator

**#The JD for this role:**

• Daily availability from 31.10.26 to 11.11.26

• Visit twice a day and fill her bowl (will let you know what she eats)

• Send daily updates and photographic evidence that the queen is alive, fed and continuing to do absolutely nothing productive

• Scoop the litter once in 2 days

• Spend time with her or just have a laid back day. June appreciates company

• Be mindful of the main door. June isn’t an escape artist, but she’s strictly an indoor cat and I’d like to keep it that way

**#Perks of being June’s temporary human**

• You’ll have access to the house during these dates, so there’s no need to awkwardly sit around watching a cat sleep

• The apartment is on the 21st floor and comes with:
High-speed internet and a study with a proper workstation, if you want to work remotely

Hey everyone, I am writing this in absolute distress and panic because my family (my mother and I) is facing severe mob harassment, cyber-bullying, and physical intimidation in our high-rise society in Greater Noida just for being animal lovers and feeding community dogs. While we fully supported the society building a gate to keep dogs out of the tower, a specific neighbor and a group of residents used this to launch a vicious targeted campaign against us, publicly hurling vile slurs, calling us "characterless," in voice notes and making deeply hurtful personal attacks against my mother. It escalated dangerously when this neighbor sent unauthorized people to our door pretending to be maintenance, took a photo of our flat showing my elderly uncle, and posted it in the main group chat as a threat claiming they "taught us a lesson." 2 days back, they held an unofficial meeting to mock us, and when we went there, a group of women cornered us, aggressively yelled, and physically pushed my sister with their bodies, forcing us to retreat as my mother's health began to fail from the shock. To make matters worse, they have kicked us out of the WhatsApp groups so we cannot defend ourselves, and they are now circulating a completely fake, heavily doctored "Supreme Court Public Notice" falsely claiming feeding is banned and urging residents to stalk and photograph us to incite a lynch-mob mentality. We have submitted a written application to the local police, but the main instigator is trying to flip the narrative by maliciously weaponizing her child's medical condition to fabricate a lie that we said something to him to gain police sympathy, even though we have never interacted with the child. As a household of women and a senior citizen, we feel extremely unsafe even walking out of our own front door, so we are urgently seeking advice, guidance, or direct connections to strong animal rights activists, ground volunteers, or lawyers in Noida who can step in and help us push the police to convert our application into a formal FIR for criminal intimidation and assault.

Idk if you remember Jagger... She was the cat who was poisoned and abused till her leg broke all because she wanted to hide from rain and sat in autorickshaw...

I can't leave her back there again. They'll hurt her or worse.. She was lucky I found her at right time.. She has a potential adopter too. All I ask is you help us keep her in the foster...

We are in a bit of a difficult situation and are hoping this community can help. For the last four weeks, we have been caring for a lovely stray mother cat and her three absolutely adorable kittens.

​The kittens are approximately 6 to 8 weeks old. The good news is that both the mother and all three kittens are fully litter-trained! They are sweet, playful, and healthy.

​We would absolutely love to adopt them ourselves, but we already have five cats of our own and simply cannot take on any more. To make matters more urgent, we are moving out of our current flat in a month and a half and cannot leave them behind.

​We are looking for someone, who can open their home to them. We are hoping to find a home for the mother and kittens together, or at least pair them up.

Was feeding my dog and I noticed this Mama Cat staring straight at his food. From the looks of it she's lactating and looked hungry so we gave her an egg, some yogurt mixed with chicken broth and kibble and she went on her merry way.

Reminder: Don't give them milk. If you want to, get goat milk or dry goat milk powder. They cannot digest lactose from cows/buffaloes.

A LONG STORY AHEAD BCOZ ITS THIRD TIME THIS IS HAPPENING

In month of May she hurt her back side leg somehow which got swollen then starting limping a bit then she bit it n made it worse. Whenever I tried applying any medicine she used to lick it n make wound even more open. At last I got to vet n through injection she was cured.

Again after few months she injured another leg of her back side in similar way but this time despite having no injury she created one by biting joint area.

This time I had to take her to two different vets bcoz having one didn't helped bcoz apparently after biting something happened n her stomach became too round like a big ballon

Now this time without any injury she has bitten the leg joint area n created a wound

For recent injury she's not letting me see it so couldn't take image of it

Any idea what might be the issue?

Or m I giving her wrong treatment

I googled a bit n they said it might be infection or some allergy

A.N before this third injury she got infected of scabies due to other stray cats which I healed through meds but she doesn't like to stay at home n roams around too much so I think she has some insects troubling her too

I haven't gotten chance to take care of this current issue yet but now I'm confused that her biting thing is also due to this or not

I was out at night when a very friendly stray dog got all over me. I noticed like half an hour later that he left these scratches with his nails.

🚨 URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR A RESCUED DOG 🚨
I recently found a dog lying on the road who was unable to move. After rescuing him, we came to know that he is suffering from a serious back injury and currently cannot move on his own.
We are trying to get him admitted to a shelter/NGO where he can receive proper medical care and rehabilitation. I have already paid approximately 4,700 for one-time transportation to get him there.
However, the NGO is currently extremely overloaded with cases. They have still agreed to take him in, but have requested that, if possible, I also contribute towards his medical expenses so that they can continue his treatment without additional financial pressure.

So our hostel AMHR girls hostel in Delhi under jamia hamdard University has alot of cats the girls were having issues with them initially they believed the best course of action was to throw them out as in put them in some pillow case or bag and throw them out there with dogs and Hunger to basically due I have been posting here to get most of them adopted asap and all the students knew I had also tried to get them neutered but the warden refused these fuckers have thrown out kittens around 10 days old now they are poisoning them

Please share this as much as you can. My friend was fostering this indie cat who had 2 kittens. Mama died unexpectedly 2 days back and my friend is struggling because the kittens are refusing to drink formula milk😭😭😭shes working and she cant look after them after the long weekend because she has a hectic job.

The names of the kittens are coco and tutu. Coco is the grey one and tutu is the other one.

My opinion: Kudos to the organisers for making sure this event didn't just become another internet meaningless hype but actually helped give back to the community.

All the awards are really well thought out except the ones like cakes and treats imo. These babies need proper help to regain quality of life and stuff like cakes, of not made with their diet in mind, will cause more harm.

This pigeon was found in my society and a cat have kind of bit on his/her tail region.....not his/her wings, have applied betadine to clean his/her wound and then put some neosporine powder to prevent maggots on his/her wounds acc to a bird rescuer........he or she has pooped once....and has kind of moved so no injury on legs but is bit off balance because of shock like only a few times has rocked back and forth and then stabalises.......will it be ok?? Pls helpp
