HELP NEEDED: Mob harassment, physical assault, and fake SC notices against a feeder family in Greater Noida

Hey everyone, I am writing this in absolute distress and panic because my family (my mother and I) is facing severe mob harassment, cyber-bullying, and physical intimidation in our high-rise society in Greater Noida just for being animal lovers and feeding community dogs. While we fully supported the society building a gate to keep dogs out of the tower, a specific neighbor and a group of residents used this to launch a vicious targeted campaign against us, publicly hurling vile slurs, calling us "characterless," in voice notes and making deeply hurtful personal attacks against my mother. It escalated dangerously when this neighbor sent unauthorized people to our door pretending to be maintenance, took a photo of our flat showing my elderly uncle, and posted it in the main group chat as a threat claiming they "taught us a lesson." 2 days back, they held an unofficial meeting to mock us, and when we went there, a group of women cornered us, aggressively yelled, and physically pushed my sister with their bodies, forcing us to retreat as my mother's health began to fail from the shock. To make matters worse, they have kicked us out of the WhatsApp groups so we cannot defend ourselves, and they are now circulating a completely fake, heavily doctored "Supreme Court Public Notice" falsely claiming feeding is banned and urging residents to stalk and photograph us to incite a lynch-mob mentality. We have submitted a written application to the local police, but the main instigator is trying to flip the narrative by maliciously weaponizing her child's medical condition to fabricate a lie that we said something to him to gain police sympathy, even though we have never interacted with the child. As a household of women and a senior citizen, we feel extremely unsafe even walking out of our own front door, so we are urgently seeking advice, guidance, or direct connections to strong animal rights activists, ground volunteers, or lawyers in Noida who can step in and help us push the police to convert our application into a formal FIR for criminal intimidation and assault.

[Urgent] 5-year-old female dog has been awake/pacing for hours, repetitive fly-hunting & digging, possible neurological/behavioural issue?

Hi everyone. I’m posting because I’m extremely worried about my 5-year-old female dog, Yoshi, and I’d really appreciate input from veterinarians, veterinary neurologists, or anyone experienced with similar cases.

Dog:

* 5-year-old female
* German Spitz × Border Collie mix
* Small/short stature
* Around 10–12 kg
* Otherwise generally healthy

What started happening

A few days ago, Yoshi suddenly started behaving very strangely. She would:

* Walk continuously around the house
* Pace without settling
* Pant
* Dig at the floor, doors, sheets and bed
* Stare/zones out at particular spots
* Hunt/chase houseflies obsessively
* Seem extremely tired but not actually sit down or sleep
* Sometimes cry while looking at us

The most concerning part is that she seems physically exhausted but appears unable to switch off and sleep. She can walk normally and doesn’t appear physically weak in her legs.

Her behaviour during these episodes :

She is still responsive to us.

If we call her, she comes to us. She recognizes us, interacts with us, eats normally, drinks water and can play normally with me.

For example, during one episode she was staring at me. I called her in a baby voice and she cried while looking at me. Later she was standing in the living room; I called her and she immediately came to me.

She also eats normally, she happily ate chicken and she has played her normal physical game with me.
However, she cannot seem to disengage from the repetitive behaviour. For example, she saw some houseflies and chased them. We killed/removed the flies, but she continued searching the house for them and digging as though she was still hunting.

At another point I put her on my bed in a dark, quiet room hoping she’d finally sleep. Instead she started growling at the bed while digging into it, then continued pacing. She was not growling at me.

She has gone many hours without sleeping, despite clearly looking exhausted.

Vet visits :

We have already taken her to the veterinarian 4 times.

Initially, we thought something physical might be wrong. Her anal glands were expressed/cleaned (her mother’s were also cleaned), and she received three injections during the first visit.

She has been prescribed medication, including SelginPet (selegiline) and other medications. I don’t want to change or add anything without veterinary advice.

Our current vet believes that the behaviour is neurological/behavioural, rather than simply a problem with her anal glands.We have been asked to return for follow-up, but the behaviour is still happening despite treatment.

Some things that make me confused
I have read about focal seizures and fly-biting/fly-catching behaviour, but I’m confused because Yoshi remains responsive during these episodes. She isn’t having a typical full-body seizure. There is no collapse, loss of consciousness or obvious convulsion.

Her repetitive behaviour is more like:

pacing → staring → fly-hunting → digging → walking → searching → occasionally playing/interacting → back to pacing/digging

And she seems unable to settle enough to sleep.

Current physical condition

At the time of writing:

* Gums: pink
* Breathing: panting
* Walking: normal
* Abdomen: normal/soft
* Drinking: yes
* Eating: yes
* Vomiting: no
* Collapse: no
* Responsive to us: yes

But she looks extremely tired because she has been awake and moving around for so long.

What I am trying to understand

I would especially appreciate responses from veterinarians/veterinary neurologists:

  1. Could this be focal seizure activity/fly-catching syndrome, despite her remaining responsive?
  2. Could it be a compulsive/stereotypic neurological behaviour?
  3. Could medication, pain, hormonal changes/heat, or something else be contributing?
  4. What tests would normally be considered to distinguish between these possibilities?
  5. Would you recommend seeing a veterinary neurologist rather than continuing only with a general veterinarian?
  6. Is there anything safe we can do at home to help her actually settle and sleep during one of these prolonged episodes?

I can provide videos of the behaviour and the medication/prescription if helpful.
I’m honestly quite scared because I’ve never seen a dog behave like this before. She is clearly exhausted, but she seems unable to stop herself.

Any advice from veterinary professionals, especially neurologists, would be hugely appreciated.
