I currently have ryzen 7 2700, a 2060 6gb, and 16gb of 3200 ram.

I've been wanting to upgrade as its starting to lag behind, although with how ram prices are, I'm wondering if it would make sense to keep my current motherboard and ram.

I'm looking at upgrading to a used 4070 12gb and a ryzen 7 5700x.

Would it be stupid to upgrade in an outdated platform?
