I'm rigging a Canon C50 on the RS3 mini for a run-n-gun location shoot. The location doesn't allow lights, booms, or such. Just cam on hand-held gimbal. On camera sound. Using a Shure VP83 supercardioid shotgun. Want to mate it via 3.5mm splitter with a less directional cardioid (battery powered required). Typically shooting 3 feet +, Little extra room sound. Doesn't seem to be a lot in this zone. Only solid find is the Saramonic CamMic+.

Nuthatch

On this Sunday afternoon . . . on the fence, the adult female red breasted nuthatch nesting just next door on my neighbor's house. Other regular flights to and from the nest box. Seems Dad is finally giving Mom a break. And near the end, telling me about her day, or something.

Later, about 30 minutes, she flew back up to the nest.
