I consider myself a progressive liberal democrat. I agree with many of Rachel Maddow's points of views. But TBH, her program and her news coverage feels out of touch. Two weeks in a row I tuned in to her show and what she talked about for the most of her show (if not all of it), was not relevant to the biggest news of the day. Today she has spent the first 35 minutes of her show talking about ICE facilities. Don't get me wrong, it is an important and coverage worthy topic, but as a program in prime time of a news channel, you expect her to talk about the hot topics of the day for a bit as well. At this point it feels more like a podcast or a documentary than an actual news program.

EDIT: so many comments about events of Saturday. To not repeat myself over and over and to be clear, that is not the only news I am referring to. Besides ICE, there are several other important matters that are affecting our democracy. I would like a nod to them and a discussion about them as well

EDIT2: thanks for all the comments. Maybe you are right and Rachel's show is no longer for me . I would just say this: if among what is the government doing in Cuba, Iran, in regard to AI, Healthcare, and immigration, you only focus on one thing, you are biased at best. And also ICE is not the only immigration issue we are facing these days, I don't see any coverage in Rachel's program about pausing all immigrant and non-immigrant processes for a big group of people just because of their country of origin or considering revoking citizenship of naturalized citizens. Pretty sure both would threaten the US democracy as much as ICE facilities
