Dislike of first person limited perspective

I read a lot of fiction and there’s something that keeps happening: every time I begin a new book and flip to the first page, I get immediately turned off of when it’s written from a first person perspective. Didn’t think much of it at first—most people have their literary preferences, I figure—but then it struck me that it might be an Autism Thing. Something about how looking through the eyes of someone else and thinking their thoughts feels intrusive and weird? But then again, not everything is necessarily an autism thing and I might well be reading into it too much (har har). Thought I’d see if people relate!
