Why is this friendship-brotherhood so strong? Is there's past life behind? Soul brothers or? What's reason behind?

So I am blue. He, my best friend is red. It's like our connection is so strong, it's like we can read each other thoughts, knowing intentions, see behind masks. It's something huge, or it's just karmic pattern, me and obsession of him?
