So, I have a silver coloured ring. Whether it's pure silver, I doubt it. May be steel mixed into this

But I now have this situation, where my ring changes colour, like heat treated steel???

So my question is how...

I dont know whether this is relevant, but earlier this week, I have come in contact with some mild vinegar. Maybe that has had an effect that later allowed it to change colour later?

And now, when I was eating something with my hands, a bit of salt and water got in contact with the ring, and before I knew it, it has changed colour.

The ring was on the entire time, I did not toutch anything burning nor electric, and my hand has no damadge.

Does this make sense?
