Retaking LSAT for Argumentative Writing?
I took the August LSAT and, while I know nothing is certain until scores come out, I feel pretty good about it.
Yesterday I did the argumentative writing section and completely bombed it. My ideas were jumbled and weak, I never wrote a conclusion, and I didn't proofread anything. Though I panicked partway through and had a bad headache, timed writing has always been a weak spot - just never this bad. So while I definitely could produce a better essay, it's also a little hard to say how much better.
Here's my question: if the scores come back and I get a 178 - 180 (I was PTing in the high 170s before the test), would it be worth retaking the entire LSAT purely to submit a stronger writing sample? I'd be going in knowing my score would most likely come down.
Asking now rather than after scores because I'm not signed up for September, and the October deadline is only a day after August results come out - so won't have much time to think it over.
