What does a PT score in a blue box mean?
Just did a PT and the score is in a blue box instead of a black one. Just curious about what that's supposed to mean?
Confused with LSAT demon
Hi, this might sound dumb, but I’ve used 7sage before, and over there it’s more lessons quizzes like a curriculum to follow. However, I just got the lsatdemon essential package, and confused where the lessons etc are? All I see is in courses but idk if that’s just the entirety of the lessons they have?
What is this?
What are demon drills? How are the fun?
150-170s
Hello, I am taking the LSAT in September. I have taken the LSAT in the past and I got a 150. My goal is to get into the higher range of the 170s. I haven’t been able to study as much because I’ve had other stuff I had to do but I was wondering if it is at all possible. I’ve realized through my practice test and everything else that a lot of my issue is stamina and truly understanding the fundamentals. Is there any tips that anyone has for me?
Should I take the LSAT again?
I don't know if this is the right place to discuss, but I'm feeling uncertain as to whether I should take the August LSAT. I got a 170 in June, and while I'm happy with it, I know that every point matters and June was my first time taking it––I started study in mid-April with LSAT Demon, up from my 163 diagnostic––so I feel that I can improve. My LSAT will also be the key of my application since my CAS cumulative GPA is 3.49. However, I am gearing up to start my second year of teaching, finishing my Teach For America commitment, and the idea of losing my July of school year prep and final month off for summer is daunting; in honesty, I'm feeling lazy and don't feel like it. I'm not aiming for T14 schools or anything like that, obviously; my goal is to go with as little debt as possible. Does a difference between 170 and 172 (my highest PT score yet) mean a genuine difference in scholarship possibility? Or, given the rest of my application being not outstanding, is it not worth spending the time when there's a real chance I don't even score any better?
Any feedback here would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!
LR accuracy fluctuations
hey! i just started using lsat demon in mid-may after using a different program and have really appreciated their straightforward approach to the test. i've stopped taking weekly practice tests and have substituted it with taking three timed sections on three different days throughout the week and drilling on both the days i take sections and don't take sections. but overall, my accuracy on sections has been pretty mixed. last week, for instance, i took two LR sections and on the first one i got a score of 17/25 with an accuracy of 17/17 and a score of 19/25 with an accuracy of 17/18 (94%) on the second one. this week, however, my accuracy declined on my two LR sections: a score of 17/25 and an accuracy of 15/18 (83%) and a score of 14/24 with an accuracy of 14/17 (82%). this pattern has been pretty consistent for me as i often fluctuate between high accuracy scores some weeks and then lower accuracy scores in others. i review and take the time to understand why a right answer is 100% right and a wrong answer is 100% wrong but i just wonder what is lacking in my approach. i'm even missing questions that i spend several minutes on in an effort to wholly understand the stimulus or questions in which i correctly predicted the answer but deviated from gut and stupidly picked a completely wrong answer. if anyone has advice or suggestions or can maybe point out some gaps in how i'm approaching things pls share because i am honestly trying to score in the 170s and i know having that consistent, 100% accuracy on questions attempted is extremely crucial to getting there.
diagnosis needed
I started studying last June, 147 diagnostic. Using 7sage/free video resources, and then practicing with the demon for a bit I was able to get a 164 PT in December 2025. Since then, I've gotten a 164 one other time in March 26, and various practice scores from 155-161. I study everyday for a focused hour, really try to focus on review and not worry about timing. I'm struggling with accuracy though, despite being good with time. I've been using the Demon exclusively for the past few months, and have not been improving from that 164 in December and March. I know I understand the test, and am feeling better about it too but it's not reflecting in my scores.
When I review my wrong answers, it's rarely a difficulty issue and usually some sort of dumb mistake I made. I want a 174+, and to apply this early this cycle. That means making little to no of these dumb mistakes I am making. Seeing as it's just a strategy issue rather than a lack of understanding, I know I can get to that percentile. It's been about a year, and I really want to be done with this test.
I usually get it done to two answer choices and pick the wrong one which is incredibly frustrating
I'd appreciate any advice.
Closing gap btwn raw score & BR
Hello all,
Took a 3 section practice test this week and got 63/78 - 81%. However, when I blind reviewed the exam, I got a 73/78 - 94%.
Curious if anyone has any good advice on closing the gap between timed score and blind review score, other than just more practice with timing? I’m trying to make concrete study goals for myself and would be so hype if I could achieve my blind review accuracy on timed exams.
Thanks!
First official lsat score
I took the Lsat in June 2026, after consistently scoring in the high 160s to low 170s. After receiving my first ever official LSAT score, I am discouraged to say the least. I got a 162. I registered to take the exam again in August. Before taking June I was doing 3 PTs a week, and I just purchased LSAT Demon.
Any advice? Words of encouragement? I want to apply to law school this fall (Please don’t try to talk me out of it). I am also planning on registering for September as a safety net.
How long does LSAC take to get back to you on testing accommodations?
I submitted my form on Wednesday afternoon. When do u think they will get back to me by?
Just Started Using LSATDemon
I'm enjoying the explanations. Literally how I'd react IRL. Need more of this and looking forward to the future explanations hehe
Also like their LR ratings, keeps me in check. As well, if anyone knows, should I be questioning the structure of the argument or the real world common sense of the argument? If that makes sense
Like for example:
if I am a wizard, then I have a blue hat
Therefore, If I am not a wizard I don't have a blue hat.
^ Flaw is sufficiency/necessity confusion
Just I be looking for the structure (immediately we know its sufficiency/necessity confusion) first, or should I be questioning the real world logic that I can not be a wizard and yet still have a blue hat? Or will it come naturally both of these concepts?
Thanks
Lawyer not in the cards for me?
151 Diagnostic (July 2025)
Started studying in mid March, senior year. Focused on my 4.0 first.
153 Test 2 (April 30th, 2026)
155 Test 3 (May 30th)
151 Test 4 (June 25th)
Took a practice test this morning. Got -14 (minus FOURTEEN) on RC. I got -6 on my previous PT.
LR was terrible too. -8 and -11.
I have been drilling LR essentially this whole month and have felt much better about it and more confident. 90% drilling accuracy. My LR rating shot up to 78 (I know they do not mean that much) In my drilling, I probably get 2/3 if not more of even level 4 questions right. Higher for the easier questions. I know that’s not amazing but like there are like 5 in each section.
Am I just dumb? I was not tired or sick or whatever excuse people like to tell themselves.
Here I was hoping my score would increase to like 157 or *gasp* even break 160. 😭 after 3 months of studying, literally no progress.
How to improve speed? Hit 95% accuracy for the first time today in a timed section! (21/22)
I hit 95% accuracy on a timed LR section today! I got 21/22, and then overall 21/25 (didn’t have time for the other three.) Tips for improving speed?
POWERSCORE BIBLES
Hello guys
So i am new to lsat prep and just starting my journey, I heard from a lot of youtube videos a lot of people on lsat that POWERSCORE bibles are really helpful in lsat prep, the reading comprehension and logical reasoning both.
I have gone through all the major book download websites like anna archive, libgen, oceanofpdf but still couldn’t find them.
Can anybody help me find their pdf versions, the books might seems affordable in us but in india rupee it gets really expensive and almost unaffordable for a student atleast.
