Stuck in purgatory

I am -4 -5 on every section right now but my blind review is -1 pretty much every time. The only thing I do for blind review is pick my other answer, I am always able to narrow down to two answers but on my wrong questions I just pick the wrong of the two. Does anyone have any advice on how to get out of this rut? Like I obviously understand it enough to get to two answers but sometimes I just pick the wrong of the two.

Homeless population

Maybe this is a privileged take, but I’m from Worcester and have been gone for a while for college, but I am back for the 4th, and have to drive through Worcester today. I drove through places like Kelley square and Chanler street and felt like the homeless population has exploded. Kelley square right by Worcester public market is a mess, and over by Antonio’s pizza is also bad. I feel like it’s been bad In the past but never this bad. Maybe I’m just not used to it anymore idk

Internship help

I currently have an internship in big law this summer as a finance and legal intern, I am studying finance and business. But summer 2027 recruiting is starting soon, and I’m not really sure what I should do next summer. If I should return to this internship or if there’s something’s I should really go out for. I really want something that will stand out on an application. I currently have the hard stats for the t6, but I feel like my softs need work.

Remote work

My internship is across the country and I want to go home the week of the 4th of July. I start the 15th of June and they want me in the office 3 days a week for the first two weeks and then they will readjust, likely to only 1 day a week in the office. Is it fine to ask to be fully remote the week of the 4th so I can go home? I don’t want to like push my luck though

Will finances play a role in admissions?

With the loan cap and people having to take out private loans will elite law schools start favoring applicants that can pay full price? Does this play a role in admissions at all like how in undergrad there are need aware and need blind schools?

Super streaky

I feel like some days I can absolutely crush drilling and practice sections. But then other times I feel like I’m just getting my ass handed to me and can get literally nothing right. Like today I’ve been drilling on lsatdemon level 3 and 4 questions and I’ve literally gotten nothing right. And I know lsatdemon tests you on what you are consistently getting wrong but it is so frustrating right now because I have no clue if I’m actually making progress. Anyone have any advice?

LinkedIn post?

Did you guys post for your internship? I locked down and internship for this summer this week that aligns perfectly with my career plans. Should I post it on linked in? Most of my peers have posted their internships on LinkedIn. I don’t start until mid June

I’m pretty sound in my answering of the easy questions on lsat demon, maybe mess up on 1-2 level 1 and 2 questions in a section. But I just get absolutely cooked by the level 3 and 4 questions in both LR and RC. I feel like I just get the words all jumbled and can’t tell what the hell is even going on. I’m pretty early on in my journey but I’m feeling like this is the first major plateau I’ve hit. I’m sitting around a 160 about 3 weeks into really studying if that helps. I’m considering a tutor but I want to get a bit further with my score before I do that.

I tried to ask this in the University of Edinburgh subreddit but it wouldn’t let me. I’m studying abroad there next year and had some concerns about grading. I know about the uk grading scale First class=A in the US, and I was wondering if it’s really as hard as they make it out to be. My school keeps warning us that the grading is much harder and I had some concerns because I want to go to law school and my grades are going to get transferred over and they really matter. I’m a straight A student in the US and don’t want to get my ass kicked when I get over there.

Also if you go to the UoE let me know of any good/easy classes just want to enjoy my time over there.

I have an assessment test tomorrow with a company I really want to do an internship with, it’s an excel proficiency assessment for a finance internship. I’m pretty solid at excel but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these types of assessments and what I should do to prep for the test.

I have some pretty solid excel skills nothing crazy but I know how to use it. I have a proficiency test for an internship on Thursday, and I was wondering if there’s any good review I can do to prepare myself for the test. It’s a finance internship.
