Gala's Retirement (Commission of my Charr Druid)
Ever since wing 1 came out back in 2015 I've been raiding pretty consistently. I started out as just a regular raider and worked up to leading my own awesome raiding group for many years... and teaching a host of newbies in my main guild as well! We got to knock out plenty of the raid wings as they came out and did most of the CM's together. "Banana Forest", our funny raid team name, was all about being bananas while still getting our clears. About a year ago, raiding for us started to wind down whether that was disinterest in the game or real life just creeping up on us all after a decade.
These days, a few of us jump into raid quick plays for the fun while chatting up. We call it our "raiding retirement". Still, we all hold the wonderful memories of taking down wing 1 for the first time to our triumph over defeating HTCM after months of pulls.
So, I wanted to get a commission done to commemorate the raiding. Gala Softpaw is my Charr druid which I played a ton in raids. Even after a lot of balance changes, I still think she has my most played hours in raiding though my Charr Engineer may be pretty close. So, this is her enjoying a well deserved retirement with her two favorite pets.
