I have a Epson WF-2845 which I purchased used for cheap as a repair project.

During disassembly, a torsion spring fell out from somewhere, as printing and scanning is working fine, I could not use that to narrow down it's location.

I believe the spring may belong somewhere at the base of the blue plastic lever which holds up the scanner, as it needs assistance to close fully, getting stuck at the end.

Any help would be appreciated. (Except asking official Epson support, they quoted a ridiculous amount for a service technician)
