So we just upgrade our wifi.

Now, password changes and we revert it back to the old password to sync everything up again to the wifi.

But the Epson printer can't connect, earlier we can still detect the printer from our computer now we don't.

I'm frustrated and pressured, I'm not the IT dude I'm a document staff. And I know it's a huge hindrance and problem if the printer is having problem.

IT guy just gave me responsibility, because I had background as an IT Assistant for 3 months.

And I know printers are nightmare. They probably gonna put the blame on me tomorrow like everybody else If I can't fix it💀 Documents needs to be submitted on time coz I myself do the document.

How do you fix this?

I’ve been trying to figure out what’s wrong with my printer for about 4 hours with no luck.

My computer shows the printer as Ready, but it won’t print anything. I’ve tried changing the network settings, but it says “Printer is busy” whenever I try to access the Wi-Fi settings, even with the USB cable unplugged. There’s nothing in the print queue, and the printer has never been connected to my Wi-Fi.

I’ve also tried doing a factory reset, but it just sits for a few seconds and then goes back to the reset screen without actually resetting. The printer also won’t power off normally. I left it sitting for about 30 minutes, but it stayed on the whole time, so the only way to turn it off is to unplug it.

I’ve tried updating the drivers, firmware, and software, but the Epson installer can’t detect the printer even though Windows recognizes it.

The strange part is that the copier works fine—it successfully printed a copy—so it seems like this is some kind of software or firmware issue rather than a hardware problem.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is this light on the WF-3823 supposed to be on all the time?
In stand-by mode, it does pulsate from on to dimming.

But during the day you barely notice it but at night, it really lights up a dark room O_O

i bought used epson perfection 2480 couple months ago. didnt need it until this week so that was eventually the time to unpack it and try it out. i kept it in cold dry place with no sunlight so nothing could happen

my os is windows 11 64x. so i installed the drivers the seller sent me, everything was working completely fine and i made 5 great scans and then something went wrong. then it started saying that cant properly access the scanner for no visible reason

there cant be any mechanical damage becasue i live alone and noone else touched it and it wasnt dropped or hit by anything. power cable and usb are also fine because i see it in my devices and in vuescan. the light is also white and bright and nice and it doesnt go out neither it flickers

i tried compatibility mode, changing usb cable to different one, reinstalled everything, tried windows 10 and mac osx 10.11.4, tried multiple different scanning apps and nothing would help.

with that new usb cable it kinda works, but in automatic mode epson scan wouldnt recognize my document, scanning in simple and professional mode would get me just a white paper

vuescan also kinda works but it wont roll that scanning thing all the way and back like in epson scan easy and professional mode, it scans only a piece and that's overexposed negative

i would really appreciate some help because im super desperate rn and ran out of ideas

hey, i was wondering if anyone in the community knows how to connect an epson ecotank printer to a computer that runs ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS, what drivers should i download, and what else i need to do. i tried figuring it out on my own but i'm still very new to linux in general. any advice would be helpful, thanks.

I called the 1-800 Epson number and that is what I was told. I bought an XP-4200 model printer back in August of last year from Best Buy and it came with a 1-year manufacturer warranty from Epson that is set to expire at the end of August.

I called and told them that I wanted to extend the warranty for 2 extra years, but was told I can't since its past the 90-day time frame from the date that I bought it from Best Buy.

Is there no other way I can get extended warranty for this particular model?

I recently purchased a SureColor P600 from an ex graphic designer. He let me know that the magenta color isn’t printing.
I replaced the cartridge and did several print head cleanings, and the magenta still isn’t fully working. There’s SOMETHING printing in the space, but it looks like blue/black colors instead of the magenta. Any ideas what might need to happen?

I don't know anything about printers or technology, so bear with me.

I make art, and I've been looking for a printer with a scanner so I can make digital copies of my work and eventually start making prints of them. So, when I found this printer at a garage sale for $5, I figured it would be worth seeing if it worked.

I'ts and EPSON xp-310. It has no ink right now, and I've just been trying to figure out the scanner.

I have the printer connected to the internet, and I added the printer to the printer settings on my laptop.

When I go to scan on the setting "To Pc (WSD)" it comes up with the name of my laptop, but when I click OK, it says "Unavailable."

So, first dumb question: do I need to download software on my laptop for this printer to work? If so, where? I found this: https://support.epson.net/setupnavi/?LG2=EN&OSC=ARD&PINF=addsoft&MKN=XP-310, but I'm not sure if it's the right thing.

If it is the right thing to download, there's no option for Windows 11, which is what my laptop runs.

I clicked around some and ran into a page saying, "This product has reached End of Support." So, has this printer become obsolete? Is there a way for me to get it working?
