43 [F4R] UK/Anywhere. Essentially undateable. Seeking someone desperate.

The last time I posted something to this effect I received a lot of messages from men saying 'don't be so down on yourself!' and 'your lack of confidence isn't attractive!'. To avoid that happening again I'm going to hit you with some cold, hard facts.

I'm 43 years old, but have been dealing with worsening health and disabilities following an accident I had back in 2015. I was 33 when it happened and my life essentially stopped there and then. At this point I live with my elderly mother and am almost entirely housebound, mostly because of physical limitations but also because I have no incentive to even try anymore. I live in a shitty area that depresses the hell out of me, cannot drive, and have no friends, so have long since surrendered myself to the idea of just rotting in bed for the foreseeable future.

I am, by pretty much anybody's standards, deeply unattractive. Being in constant pain leads to a sedentary lifestyle, which leads to weight gain. I'm 5'4" and about 275lbs, so very fat. That alone is considered a dealbreaker by most.

On top of that I have a newly shaved head, lousy teeth, and those weird toe thumbs that people seem utterly repulsed by. I managed in my twenties when I was a lot slimmer and had nice hair/a distant spark of life in my eyes, but nowadays I'm an absolute shitshow. I'm well aware that the majority of people would never in a million years consider me as a prospect for a relationship.

I've been by myself for so long that I'm almost entirely resigned to it. My last relationship was 15 years ago. The last time I slept with someone was 9 years ago. Since then I haven't been kissed, or hugged, or so much as touched platonically. Literally no physical contact of any kind with another human being. No emotional or intimate connections online, even. The only person I have any interaction with is my mother, and she isn't the maternal type. I am so isolated and so lonely that it's difficult to even remember what life was like before all of this happened.

I suppose I'm posting this as a final hail mary. One last ditch effort to potentially connect with someone, romantically or otherwise. I'm autistic and an introvert so I don't often struggle with only having myself for company, but when the loneliness hits it hits SO hard. I miss simple companionship. I miss fresh air. I miss feeling like I have something to live for.

Perhaps some part of this resonates with you? Perhaps you're dealing with chronic illness yourself, or have found yourself single for what feels like an eternity? Maybe you're ugly as sin, too? Maybe we can be sad sack uggos together?

I'm a good person. I'm kind, and empathetic, and fiercely loyal. I give great gifts and pay my own way. I have nice handwriting and can articulate myself well and will always be mindful of your feelings. I am good at curating collections and can make a hell of a playlist. There's still some life left in me. I'm still filled with untold joy. It's just buried under 11 years of shitty circumstances and I need help to dig it out again.

I don't care where you are (I would jump at an opportunity to relocate) and I don't care what you look like. I'm pan and would especially welcome a connection with another woman, but I know I'm in no position to be choosy. Literally the only hard requirement is that you're left-leaning.

So, yeah. I don't have high hopes, but I'm trying it regardless. My DMs are wide, wiiiiide open.

Local charity shops that would potentially collect a large donation of items?

I'm nearing the end of my life and am struggling to make arrangements for all my personal belongings. I have a lot of (what I consider to be) really special vintage items that I know could potentially make some other folks really happy. Also a lot of unused/often brand new items that could easily make some money for a charity if sold.

The trouble is that I'm housebound and don't have anyone who can drop items off anywhere for me. Are there are any Wirral-based charities that you know of who are a) in need of donations, and b) will potentially come and collect them? I know that some charities offer a collection service for furniture but this would be numerous large boxes/bags of smaller items, so I'm having trouble finding any options when googling.

This is a pretty quiet sub, but I'm hoping somebody reading this perhaps works at - or knows someone who works at - a small charity shop in the area who could really benefit from them. It seems silly, but all the things I've collected over the years mean a lot to me, and I'd just like to know that they're potentially going to people who will value them, too! Since some of it's a bit niche I worry about it just ending up in landfill if I don't deal with it myself. I'm not on Facebook so this seemed like the only place to ask.

Thanks so much in advance!

43 [F4R] England/Anywhere - Seeking connection of literally any kind

Well past the point of looking for a romantic relationship, I think. I'm not dating material by any stretch of the imagination. I have, for the mostpart, accepted that I likely won't have a 'partner' again in my lifetime.

But I'm incredibly isolated, and I miss human interaction. I'd really like to find someone who would also benefit from having an online pal. I have an absolute wealth of free time on my hands and will always make a concerted effort to reply.

My only stipulation is that you're able to sustain a conversation. Smalltalk and banal 'what do you do?' messages make me want to die. Please be candid, and enthusiastic, and happy to talk about things at length.

In short - I am lonely. Are you lonely, too?
