Balloon Artist Hatsu
Hello, first time poster here and I’ve quite enjoyed Hunter x Hunter. Here’s my idea for a hatsu, just wondering what limitations would be needed and what category this would fall under. So basically the user can form twisting balloons from their nen that they can twist into designs that then come to life. Think balloon dog becomes a full sized dog still made from the nen balloons but now “alive”. These creations last until either they’re destroyed or the user purposefully dispels them. The power and durability of the creations depends on the amount of balloons used and the amount of detail included. At a baseline the design must at least resemble the target creation for the hatsu to activate. This includes non-living creations such as weapons or other objects. Maybe I should add in that each creation requires a small amount of aura to maintain? Or another limitation? My goal for this hatsu was to make a hatsu that can be powerful, but does require prep time to use properly, since the more time you have the stronger constructs you can make, and in a straight fight you might not have time to make much at all if you’re caught unawares. My first thought is that this is either an emitter or transmuter ability since it requires you to turn your aura into twisting balloons that you then shape into your constructs. But an argument could be made for conjurer, manipulator or even specialist. Which is why I’m asking you all what you guys think.
