Laid off
Got laid off from an AI startup less than 90 days in and honestly I’m pretty rattled by it.
Before this, I was also impacted by downsizing at another company, so getting hit twice back to back has me questioning a lot. I keep replaying whether I chose the wrong environments, especially around companies that rely heavily on inbound infrastructure and early stage execution.
Having been in sales for roughly 13 years now, I’m scratching my head wondering what the fuck to do with myself. Right now I’m stuck questioning whether I should stay in tech at all or pivot into something entirely different.
Not feeling great mentally about any of it at the moment.
Curious if anyone else here has gone through something similar at an AI startup or in tech recently. How did you navigate it?
