I went to Puerto Rico a couple of years ago and pretty much lived off of this one restaurant's canoas de platanos. I have looked in all the Puerto Rican restaurants in the city that I can find for this dish and the closest I've gotten are the piononos at Sofrito, but it's not quite hitting the spot.

Does anyone know where I can find Canoas de platano in the city? I'd be eternally grateful as I've been dreaming about them for years now.
