Is there a reason to use the Pistol after unlocking the Double Barrel Pistol?

The Double Barrel pistol just seems like a straight upgrade to the pistol, is there any case where this isn't true?

I am aware that we did just have an update, though I am curious if we might be getting updated voice lines from the same Voice Actors in the next one, as those who voice the countries I like playing as don't have the lines that the rest of the Countries do.
