I am genuinely curious for parents who have children that are three, four, five for birthday parties do you prioritize inviting the children of your good friends that are the same age or do you prioritize inviting daycare friends? How do you normally create the guest list for birthday parties if there is, let’s say a 10 person limit?

For background, I invited my good friends kids to my sons birthday party this year and a few months later she told me there is a limit and no space for my child at her sons birthday because she is inviting daycare friends.
