A personal dream of mine
I was wondering what others thought of this view...
I grew up in a conservative state. Not red like TX or AL but solid red, and I left the church at 18.
I honestly never thought I'd hear myself say this before a week or two ago but I have finally come to the conclusion that all right wing religous institutions should be essentially banned & treated like a mental illness in the US.
Any church that didn't want to be shut down would have to fill out a kind of litmus test about what they believed as a congregation.
I just think it would be objectively hilarious to see Reich wingers (specifically my Aunt and uncle in TN) totally lose their sh*t & melt down 😄😄😄
Now with that being said, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have zero interest in banning religions that are left wing.
I'd also throw in a universal property tax on all religious institutions unless your church ran something like a food bank or a shelter of some sort.
What do YOU think? I'm pretty sure (probably 99% certain) that I'll never see it in my lifetime but I can still dream, lol.
